Amy loves… discovering a new mascara, fresh spring make up for cheeks and lips and a rose-y body treat
No7 Pop & Glow Cream Blush
These are the easiest-peasiest creamy blushers around! Don’t be alarmed by their chubby, clunky appearance. I promise you won’t look like a clown whose painted their face with a Crayola; in fact, I think you’ll fall in love.
The three available colours are pretty and flattering for all skin tones and such a doddle to use. Just dot on to apples of the cheeks and smudge and blend. Perfect pretty spring make up.
Another bargain beauty buy for my make up bag this season is the Body Shop Colour Crush Lipstick in Peachy Pink. A super moisturising, sheer lippie that gives a gorgeous tint. There are a whopping 26 shades to choose from and at a tenner a pop, it won’t break the bank if you want to pick and mix.
A classic that I’ve been rediscovering this month, Dr Hauschka Rose Body Moisturiser has perfectly fitted the bill as a replacement for my serious tubs of body butter, which got me so beautifully through the winter. A beautifully light-but-rich lotion that as well as the beautiful rose petal extract (that’s smells divine) contains sweet almond and jojoba oils to keep skin supple as well and moisturised. A true beauty hero.
I wasn’t sure about this at first: I’m normally someone who loves a big, mega volumising mascara but in the name of all things beauty, I gave it a whirl. And loved it. The newly-designed brush fans out lashes from the inner corner to the outer edge and gives a gorgeous eye opening effect without having to do lots of coats. The other thing that impressed me is that it honestly lasts all day without the merest smudge or flake AND is still easy to remove at night with my basic cleanser. So, seriously pretty lashes, easily achieved and that last all day… I’m sold.
