Simple yet ultra-effective body lotions, a fragrant and bubbly bath treat, a pretty new make up bag and a foot rescuing hero…

NEOM Tranquility Bath Foam

With the weather still reminiscent of the North Pole, I’m still hibernating and taking lovely, hot dips in the tub to keep warm. Like Jo and Sarah, I’m a very big fan of aromatherapy oils for the bath but sometimes I like to sink into some lovely frothy bubbles and this beautiful bath foam from NEOM combines the best of both those worlds. It combines their fabulous and best selling scent, Tranquility (a blend of lavender, sweet basil and jasmine) with sweet almond, coconut and marshmallow to soften and nurture as your wafted into a peaceful calm. It’s incredibly gentle as well, so great for those with sensitive skins.

Weleda Sea Buckthorn Body LotionWeleda Sea Buckthorn Replenishing Body Lotion

As much as I love pampering and luxuriating with decadent body treats, in the morning after my shower, there just isn’t time (oh, how I wash there was!) for silky body oils or rich butters to skin in before I have to throw some clothes on and fly out the door. Well done, Weleda for creating this set of fabulously hardworking and simple to use body lotions. There are four in the range that are suited to different skin concerns, Wild Rose, Pomegranate and Citrus, all delicious but my current favourite is the Sea Buckthorn, which has a wonderfully uplifting scent that is great for starting my day the right way. It’s the one that’s also meant for dry skins which is perfect for my parched limbs at this time of year.

Sew Lomax Embroidered Lipstick Pouch

Sew Lomax Lipstick PouchIt’s spring (apparently) and with that comes the annual house clean and the slightly smaller job of cleaning out my make-up bag – ready for those pretty spring colours.  And pretty make up needs a pretty make up bag – so after some Easter internet browsing, I came across these darling designs from Emma Lomax. She creates them herself in the UK and is keen on making sure all bags are ethically sourced. I’m in love with them all but the Lipstick Pouch is the perfect size to fit all my essentials and carry in my handbag, if you’re after something a little bigger then do check out her beautifully designed website, www.sewlomax.com, where she has many more gorgeous things to lust over!

This Works Perfect Heels Rescue Balm

This Works Perfect Heels Rescue BalmI know I have raved about this here before but I just HAVE to mention it again as it really truly does perform miracles. Since getting our puppy last year, my feet have been sealed up in big clumpy boots most days while taking him out on big walks – and this has resulted in rather sad and neglected feet. I know it doesn’t seem like it right now but soon (hopefully) I’ll have to get them out and ready for sandal-wear. This is where this rich, creamy balm really does live up to its name;  flying to the rescue, it has repaired some cracked skin on my heels and I’m now applying it every night before bed to make sure they stay smooth and soft. It’s formulated with lavender and lemon and the fragrance is as terrific as its performance.
